The Girl Who Tempted Fortune
In the royal courts of medieval Europe, where aristocrats vie for power and royal cousins battle over crowns, can the lowly daughter of a fisherman dream of becoming mother to a monarch? Impossible! Yet Philippa of Catania, the daughter of a Sicilian fisherman, risks everything to ride the wheel of fortune to the dizzying heights of power. And in the most enlightened kingdom of all Christendom, the 14th Century court of King Robert the Wise and his beautiful and brilliant heir, Queen Joanna 1 of Naples, it might not be so impossible after all. Follow the story of Philippa of Catania as she defies the limits of birth and station on an unbelievable yet true journey to the heights of power and wealth in 14th Century Italy. Impact: A Memoir of PTSD
An inspiring memoir about family, loss and finding one’s way.
On a sunny spring morning, Jane Ann McLachlan was driving her
daughter, newly home from university, on a routine errand. Their
affectionate banter was suddenly broken when a jeep barreled into
their car. The impact trapped McLachlan in the car with multiple
injuries, and resulted in severe PTSD.
" McLachlan takes us on a deeply personal and emotional journey
through PTSD. She is forced to surrender her illusion of control and
re-evaluate what it is that gives a life value. In telling her story, she
captures the impact of PTSD on its victims and their families."
Impact is the story of how a life can be shattered in the blink of an eye, and of how to begin again. Available here on Amazon.

The Sorrow Stone
Would you pay someone to bear your sorrow? When Lady Celeste sells her sorrow to a passing peddler they both get more than they bargained for. She soon learns that without her wedding ring her husband may set her aside, leaving her ruined, and determines to retrieve it before he finds out-—without reclaiming her sorrow. A Science Fiction, alien world novel -- available on Amazon
What if males and females were completely different species from each other?
WALLS OF WIND explores this question and its ramifications on a
world in which males and females are two equally intelligent sentient species: Ghen and Bria. They are interdependent, although physically, emotionally and mentally they have little in common. Or so they believe, until their city is threatened by a terrifying predator that has invaded the forests just beyond their walls. A handful of Ghen and Bria struggle to find a solution before their civilization is destroyed.
WALLS OF WIND combines anthropological speculation with the tragedy, suspense and triumph of individual characters who struggle to overcome external threats as well as their own internal fears and prejudices.

The Right Choice: Making Ethical Decisions on the Job
The decision to act ethically or unethically is one that we make every day. But do we always make these decisions consciously? Are we acting out of habit, out of attitudes and experiences from our past, and maybe even beliefs that we no longer hold? Do our choices really reflect how we want to behave, or are they the result of pressure from others or our workplace culture - "how things are done here"?

Ethics In Action: Making Ethical Decisions in Your Daily Life
Ethics comes from the Greek word ethos, which means character. Character is a complex word. It can be described as the attitudes, values, and beliefs that determine a person’s behavior. A person’s character, or ethics, will largely determine which choices he or she will make when faced with moral decisions. What do your values and decisions say about your character?
